The commission process usually takes 6 to 8 weeks and begins with a meeting to discuss the commission subject. 30% upfront fee is required with contract signing. The artist will take a photo of the subject (i.e.; A private home, a favorite landmark, a pet or person). A .Jpeg or hard copy images can also be provided by client. Once image has been approved, the artist begins drawing and working on first proof that will be sent to client via email. At that point, any changes can be made to color, adding or deleting elements, changes to sky or background, etc. After the final proof, there is a discussion in regards to print size, paper or canvas options, in addition to matting and framing options.
